What is inside the Laba Party Kenya deck
Every card is a word plus four forbidden words for Classic mode. The list below is generated from the deck the game actually ships with, so the counts are real rather than marketing. The deck is added to regularly -- if a category feels thin, it usually will not be next month.
🏠 Kenya Life
Everyday Kenyan life: food, places, transport, languages, school, customs and the local words for things -- the cards that need no explanation at home.
🎭 Kenya Entertainment
Kenyan film, television, radio, comedy and sport, and the personalities everyone has an opinion about.
🎵 Kenya Music
Kenyan artists, songs, genres, dances and instruments, from the classics to what is playing now.
🔀 Kenya Remix
Slang, street talk, catchphrases, memes and the moments the whole country still jokes about.
🃏 Wild Card
Anything goes: odd words, jokes, tongue-twisters and cards that exist to cause arguments.
🎬 Global Entertainment
Kenyan film, television, radio, comedy and sport, and the personalities everyone has an opinion about.
🎯 Act & Guess
Cards meant to be acted rather than described. Good for a silent round.
🧠 General Knowledge
Facts, objects, animals, science and history -- the quiz-night end of the deck.
🔞 NSFW (18+)
Adult humour, switched off by default and hidden behind an age confirmation.
How cards are chosen during a round
Cards are drawn without replacement: once a word has come up it will not return until the category is exhausted and reshuffled. That is why a long session gradually gets more obscure -- the easy words are already gone.
A note on the 18+ category
It is switched off by default and hidden behind an age confirmation. It never appears in a family game unless an adult deliberately turns it on in Settings.
